As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment. • Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
• Day Time
• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including building interiors, exterior areas, access points, and parking locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility-related concerns, and document observations through accurate reports and required communication channels.
• Support visitor management and access-control processes while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
