- The Human Resource Representative provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino & Resort's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Ensure all internal and external guests entering Human Resources are greeted in a professional manner.
- Responsible for answering phones in a professional and friendly manner.
- Performs guest service functions by answering Team Member requests and questions via phone or in-person.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Performs data entry including but not limited to new hire information, transfers, dual rates, etc.
- Assists or prepares correspondence, schedules meetings and interviews, and performs other projects as requested by HR management.
- Make photocopies; mail, scan and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate Team Member files.
- Processes mail.
- May be required to record and transcribe meeting notes upon request.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Note taking skills a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of human resource experience preferred; casino/gaming experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
