Responsibilities
- Courteously receive and screen all incoming calls and emails
- Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for multiple staff ensuring timely adherence to deadlines
- Process documents related to insolvency filings
- Greet, assist and direct all visitors in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments with clients
- Open, close, organize and maintain insolvency files
- Create, format, assemble and proofread drafts
- Maintain all incoming and outgoing courier packages and mail
- Provide general admin support to consultants, managers and partners
- Uphold electronic and paper filing systems
- Scan and E-file documents
- Prepare letters, as directed, using template letter formats
- Respond to inquiries
- Communicate and coordinate with the team regarding client service work and the flow of information
- Provide support and guidance to other team members
- Schedule team meetings
- Assist with tax assembly and processing as required
Requirements
- Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in an administrative or support position
- Experience working in a Professional Services environment, in insolvency, is considered an asset
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in answering and directing customer phone calls through a phone system in a professional, courteous manner
- Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn internal databases is an asset
