Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brews.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure all drinks and food items meet quality standards and presentation guidelines.
• Handle cash and card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Engage with customers, answer questions about the menu, and offer recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the café.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in food service preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and specialty drinks.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the craft.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to change.
