• 2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk - Treasury Operations Specialist
• Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.
• Interns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship. We are seeking candidates who are curious, adaptable, and excited to gain exposure to different areas of the Finance and Risk organization.
• The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027- Friday, August 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support the Investment Operations team in daily operational processes related to investment portfolios and transactions
• Assist with monitoring and resolving trade settlement, cash, and position reconciliation exceptions
• Analyze operational data and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
• Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business

Requirements

• A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
• New York, NY
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program in Finance
• An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; a technology-driven mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.

• $20.00 - $35.00
• The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
