- We are seeking a Sourcing Program Support Specialist to join our team in Erie, PA. This role involves coordinating and tracking request for quote (RFQ) activities, working with suppliers, and supporting the manufacturing team. Erie, known for its beautiful lakefront views and vibrant community, offers a great place to live and work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track RFQ activities.
- Work with suppliers to ensure purchase order promises are input into the ERP system.
- Monitor supplier development schedules, proactively highlighting risks and identifying potential impacts on delivery schedules.
- Execute PPAP and expedite supplier qualification process steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
- Interface with the manufacturing team to support the first build.
- Maintain product cost information and provide analysis and summaries as required.
- Gather and maintain data related to overall program metrics, providing summaries and preparing weekly updates as needed.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications is desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, etc.).
- Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to project scheduling and cross-functional interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively work with a variety of suppliers.
- Hourly Pay Rate: Based on experience.
