- This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career tax professional who wants exposure beyond simply preparing returns. You'll work directly with experienced tax professionals and gain experience across businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, tax planning, financial statements, and client advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for businesses, individuals, trusts, and estates
- Assist with tax projections and planning
- Research and respond to federal and state tax notices
- Assist with compiled and reviewed financial statements for privately held businesses
- Develop your technical tax and accounting knowledge
- Work directly with experienced managers, supervisors, and partners
- Participate in professional development, recruiting, and community activities
- Build the foundation for increasing client responsibility as your experience grows
Requirements
- 1–3 years of tax accounting experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Accountancy
- CPA license, CPA candidate, or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients and internal team members
- Desire to continue developing technically and professionally
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
