- Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager
- Salary: $65K, plus annual bonus (paid weekly, pay advance before pay day, free uniforms, great benefits, PTO)
- Are you a leader with 5-7 years of experience in either: facilities operations, event management, security, or public spaces management? Block by Block is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee one of our Ambassador programs. This role requires advanced client relationship management skills to manage daily district program operations and deliver continual program improvements. We're looking for someone with strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, experience supervising a team of employees, and a passion for creating a great experience.
Responsibilities
- Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.
- Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs.
- Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
- Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Reporting outcomes through various channels (spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets).
- Hands-on working management in the field to provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous training.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years management experience
- Driver's license in good standing
- Expert Customer Service Skills
- Expert Judgement
- Ability to work in all weather - hot or cold, snow, rain, etc, with free all-weather uniforms
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Expert in level technology and computer skills Must have a strong background with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Has a solid work history with at least 5-7 years of experience.
