Job description

• We are seeking an accomplished Senior Director, Laboratory Operations Management to provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical laboratory services. This executive-level role oversees day-to-day laboratory operations, workforce performance, quality, compliance, accreditation, financial management, and continuous improvement.
• The successful leader will ensure timely and accurate laboratory reporting, maintain high standards for testing and training, optimize operational performance, and foster a highly skilled, engaged workforce. The role partners closely with clinical, operational, executive, regulatory, and external stakeholders to advance laboratory excellence and organizational priorities.
• We are looking for a strategic, collaborative laboratory leader who can balance clinical quality, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, workforce development, and innovation while supporting organizational and patient-care objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical laboratory services
• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, workforce performance, quality, compliance, accreditation, financial management, and continuous improvement
• Ensure timely and accurate laboratory reporting
• Maintain high standards for testing and training
• Optimize operational performance
• Foster a highly skilled, engaged workforce
• Partner with clinical, operational, executive, regulatory, and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Healthcare, or a related field AND at least 12 years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or healthcare; OR
• At least 15 years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or a healthcare-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with direct reports in a healthcare-related environment.
• Minimum 4 years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
