Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and efficient checkout by entering correct SKU, quantity, and weight information into the POS system.
- Engage customers warmly and offer membership information during transactions.
- Ask customers to Round Up for the monthly sponsored non-profit, reflecting our core values.
- Follow all cash handling and check receiving procedures to maintain till accuracy.
- Uphold state regulations concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Support customers at self-checkout stations and assist with questions.
- Manage challenging customer situations with calmness and professionalism, involving leadership when needed.
- Help maintain a clean and orderly Front End, including the foyer, cart areas, eating spaces, and restrooms.
- Balance customer service with tasks such as stocking and light cleaning to keep the department running smoothly.
