Job description

• Insight Xcite is seeking a Data Architect / Data Engineer to support data acquisition, processing, integration, and management in McLean, Virginia. You will build and operate cloud-based data solutions and collaborate with engineers, customer stakeholders, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

• • Support cloud infrastructure and data management, including AWS environments.
• • Build and execute ETL pipelines and integrate data flows with enterprise systems.
• • Process data using Python and distributed data platforms, and support SQL and NoSQL data environments.
• • Work across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• • Diagnose problems independently and communicate solutions clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Requirements

• • Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure, data management, and AWS.
• • Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• • Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
• • Experience conducting data processing activities and working with Python.
• • Demonstrated experience building and executing ETL pipelines and integrating data flows with enterprise systems.
• • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and proactively solve problems.
• • Clear communication with technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP). Insight Xcite does not sponsor or process security clearances at this time.
• • Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools, and environments.
• • Experience with large language models and agentic workflows.
• • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
• • Experience supporting a hard-target mission area.
