HR & Benefits Specialist at Solen Software Group in United States

Job description

• We are looking for an HR & Benefits Specialist to help build a more consistent and connected employee experience across Solen and our portfolio companies. This role will support benefits administration, HR systems, acquisition integrations, offer letters, and onboarding for employees across the United States, Canada, Brazil, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.
• The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing the details while helping improve how work gets done. You will partner closely with the Talent Team, portfolio leaders, employees, and external providers to keep processes moving and ensure employees receive timely, reliable support.

Responsibilities

• HR and Benefits
• Support HR and benefits integration for newly acquired companies.
• Coordinate benefit implementations, enrollments, renewals, and employee communications.
• Assist employees with benefits, leave, policies, and general HR questions.
• Maintain accurate employee, benefits, and compliance records.
• Partner with brokers, carriers, EORs, PEOs, and local providers.
• Reconcile benefit enrollments, payroll deductions, and vendor invoices.
• Offers and Onboarding
• Partner with the Talent Team and portfolio leaders to coordinate offer letters and employment agreements.
• Confirm compensation, title, reporting structure, location, start date, and approvals.
• Coordinate offer distribution, signatures, preboarding, and onboarding.
• Work with hiring managers, HR, Talent, and IT to keep new hires on schedule.
• Support HRIS setup, benefit enrollment, employment documents, and equipment requests.
• Help create a consistent and welcoming global onboarding experience.
• Systems and Process Improvement
• Support HRIS implementation, testing, data cleanup, and reporting.
• Develop processes, templates, checklists, and employee resources.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate administrative work.
• Track projects, deadlines, risks, and outstanding decisions.
• Help standardize practices while accounting for local requirements.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in HR operations, benefits, onboarding, HRIS support, or a related area.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
• Working knowledge of benefits and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting acquisitions and a global workforce.
• Experience coordinating offers or new-hire onboarding.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working across multiple companies, countries, and time zones.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential information.
• A practical, responsive, and service-minded approach.
• Experience with global workforce in Brazil, Portugal, Canada, and the UK
• Experience with Deel, Rippling, Multiplier, Employee Navigator, TriNet, or similar platforms.
