- Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and ready to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into high-quality packaging solutions.
- In this hands-on role, you’ll set up, operate, and maintain state-of-the-art die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You’ll ensure precision, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency—all while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform both off-press and on-press make-readies with accuracy and efficiency
- Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members & management to meet production goals and deadlines
- Support a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems is a plus—but not required\
