- Hutchinson Health is looking to hire a Medical Unit Technician to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
- Job Summary: The Unit Technician is a paraprofessional who acts under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN to provide direct patient care, clerical support and other functions to facilitate patient care.
- Work Schedule: .6 FTE - Overnight shift with every 3rd weekend (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, clerical support and other functions to facilitate patient care under the direction of a physician, RN or LPN.
Requirements
- Current status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry, current EMT Certification or Paramedic License (will be primary source verified by HR).
- Completion of ongoing training requirements specific to the departments served.
- BLS (if not current, withing 30 days of start date)
