- The Inventory Control Coordinator maintains the inventory database and ensures daily inventory levels meet distribution and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Entering data into inventory database about quantities of issued a nd transferred parts and inventory
- Resolving Inventory shortage discrepancies
- Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issue out to upcoming jobs
- Consolidating manufactured parts to maximize shelf space
- Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficien cy
- Identifying parts through the use of SAP and drawings
- Auditing locations for part and count for accuracy ( i.e., work order and 3-Stage put away checks)
- Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
- Monitoring and keeping an updated shortage list available for the Inventory Management team
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience
- Strong computer skills including MS Office
- Accurate data entry skills
- Technical orientation
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Team orientation
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis
