• Salary Range
• The Program Assistant will be responsible for working in partnership with the program director, supervisors, and employees with the development, implementation, supervision, and coordination of the Healthy Families program. The Program Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Wellroot’s home visitation department and holds responsibilities that help ensure the program runs efficiently to achieve goals. The Program Assistant will aid in designing and implementing program objectives and initiatives based on strategic plans and program goals. Additionally, the Program Assistant will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the program and implementing improvements as necessary to ensure proper execution of the program.

Responsibilities

• Understand all Wellroot Family Service models and the appropriate flow of services for each program
• Ensuring compliance and fidelity with HFA Best practice standard, HFGa policies and procedures, and grant deliverables in relation to the program
• Manage daily office operations, providing clerical and administrative support to program
• Coordinate program events, organize team meetings, events, etc. Preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
• Collecting and entering data from various sources into databases. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Performing regular data audits and quality checks. Identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data.
• Generating and interpreting data reports, charts, and tables. Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and making recommendations for improvements
• Development and implementation of monthly CQI meetings, projects and tracking.
• Implements a quality assurance plan based on family, staff and program input and data trends
• Collaborate partnerships with outside agencies, engage in ongoing communication.
• Coordinating post-graduation services for families who have graduated from the program. Coordinate post-graduation tracking, surveys and data analyses.
• Aid in the coordination and hosting of monthly parent support groups.
• Attends and participates in all scheduled Wellroot, Healthy Families America and Georgia Home Visiting Program conference, seminars and in-service trainings
• Represents the HF program at community functions and/or speaking engagements
• Supports First Steps Georgia Program with completing screens and follow up services
• Performs other related duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, college coursework preferred
• Experience in working with or providing services to children and their families
• An ability to establish trusting relationships
• Acceptance of individual differences
• Experience and humility to work with culturally diverse families
• Knowledge of infant and child development
• Willing to engage in building reflective capacity (e.g., capacity for introspection, communicating awareness of self in relation to others, recognizing value of supervision, etc.)
