Job description

• The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy that advances Caring Networks brand, journey building, and conversion. This role will serve as a key strategist and thought leader, driving innovation across all platforms to amplify our mission, our storytelling and deepen supporter connections.
• This position will oversee the planning and governance of social media content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and brand standards. This role will partner closely with the VP of Direct Response and the Director of Communications to deliver high-impact content that elevate brand, journey and donor conversion. Additionally, this role will identify emerging trends, optimize performance through data-driven insights, and champion best practices across Caring Network.
• These efforts will further extend the organization’s reach, deepen supporter connections, and drive innovative fundraising opportunities across digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational excellence, possesses a deep passion for social media and cause-driven marketing, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and build our national social media and digital engagement strategy to drive brand awareness/engagement, mission, and digital fundraising
• Manage digital efforts including social media, paid and organic, current donation pages, creating new donation pages and directing vendors/partners in creating content aligned with brand guidelines
• Continue to build and improve donor journeys, to enhance donor experience and conversion rates
• Ensure integration with Virtuous including setting up codes, pull an email list, sending emails and more
• Oversee Caring Networks presence in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
• Establish KPIs and build reports showing clicks, average time on pages, number of page visits, conversions, average gift for all digital efforts
• Ability to create, edit, and give input into copy in many channels to adhere to brand and goals of projects as well as channel nuances
• Identify emerging platforms, tools, and trends to expand reach and engagement

Requirements

• Comfortable with participating in leading, and initiating prayer with co-workers, donors or others
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, and/or 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing
• Marketing and/or project management experience preferred; desire to keep learning and improving is required; commitment to our mission is mandatory
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Learning about data and lists and overseeing the list select process
• Learning and pulling reports. Learn why and what is important in different reports
• Ability to edit and give input into copy in many channels to adhere to brand and goals of projects as well as channel nuances
• Adhere to content style guide while creating relevant content that drives organic traffic. And fine tune journeys to optimize conversion rates
• Days in the office – 4 days per week
