Job description

• We are now looking for a Senior Specialist, Marketing, APAC to join our team at UPM Pulp. You will be a member of the global Marketing, Sustainability and Communications (MSC) team at UPM Pulp, which is part of the UPM Fibres Business Area. This position is based in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of our marketing strategy and plan for the APAC region, with your focus on China, to drive customer engagement and business growth in alignment with our commercial objectives
• Develop and execute B2B events and digital marketing initiatives while collaborating effectively across teams, regions and functions, and building strong stakeholder relationships
• Plan and execute several annual high-profile customer and trade events in an efficient and organized manner
• Contribute to the development and execution of specific marketing campaigns
• Take ownership for marketing projects, including the development of marketing tools and data

Requirements

• You have a relevant bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in executing B2B marketing plans, digital marketing activities and events in an international company
• You have a good understanding of effective B2B communications and marketing channels in China
• You are a commercially minded, detail-oriented and digitally savvy marketer with experience in digital marketing, including key platforms, automation tools and CRM systems
• You collaborate seamlessly with global and regional teams in cross-functional setups and have excellent interpersonal skills
• You are proficient in using AI tools for marketing
• You have excellent communication and project management skills, are highly organized and pay attention to detail
• You have excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) skills
• You are proactive, curious and solution focused. You manage pressure effectively and are a quick learner
