Responsibilities
- Leverage industry connections to generate new business and expand market presence.
- Develop strategic partnerships with utilities, developers, EPCs, and key stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and project acquisitions.
- Recruit, mentor, and build a best-in-class PV engineering team.
- Establish technical and operational best practices for project execution.
- Drive revenue growth through new opportunities and service offerings.
- Oversee the electrical design of large-scale PV and energy storage projects.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, and interconnection requirements.
- Optimize system performance through advanced modeling and engineering analysis.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, regulations, and market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Focus
- Electrical, Power Delivery
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, project development, or related fields.
- Established industry network with a strong reputation for winning and delivering work.
- Expertise in renewables, PV system design, interconnection, and grid integration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to rapidly scale a technical team.
- Deep understanding of NEC, IEEE, UL, and permitting requirements.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- PE (Professional Engineer) registration preferred.
