• My client is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator / Project Manager with 3 years of Estimator / Project Manager experience to join our team.
• Experienced Estimator / Project Manager

• Location: Indianapolis, IN (Indiana residency required)
• We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager with a strong background in commercial interior construction, specifically metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, doors, hardware, and related specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and professional bid proposals
• Negotiate pricing and scope with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Support project execution through strong project management and follow-through
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely follow-up throughout the estimating and project lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve estimating or scope issues proactively

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience estimating light- and heavy-gauge metal stud framing and drywall for multi-million-dollar commercial projects
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Proven experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs with a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with estimating software, including On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid (required)
• Solid computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Results-driven and proactive mindset
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Team-oriented approach with a bias toward action and accountability
• Ability to take ownership of work and see projects through from start to finish
• Bachelor's (Required)
• Commercial Construction Estimating: 3 years (Required)
• Commercial Acoustical Ceilings estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
• commercial estimating of doors & hardware: 3 years (Preferred)
• reading plans & construction documents: 3 years (Preferred)
• estimating heavy and light gauge metal stud framing: 3 years (Preferred)
• performing take-offs from commercial construction plans: 3 years (Required)
• Commercial estimating drywall: 2 years (Required)
• On-Screen Take-off estimating software: 1 year (Preferred)
• Quick Bid estimating software: 1 year (Preferred)
