Job description
- Own new business across one of the fastest-growing smart home markets in the country. This is an individual contributor role with full ownership of your territory, from prospecting and business development to in-home consultations, proposal developments and sales closing. If you’ve sold into residential construction, custom integration, or a related trade and you’re ready for real earning upside, read on.
- You’ll own new business in the Greater Miami area end-to-end, from prospecting and trade partner outreach to in-home sales consultations and proposal development that closes the deal. This is a hunter role with real consultative depth: you’ll sit at kitchen tables with homeowners, walk job sites with builders, and translate what you learn into tailored proposals with support of the Daisy team.
Responsibilities
- Prospect builders, designers, architects, and homeowners through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
- Conduct in-home sales consultations - listen to how clients live, scope the opportunity, and recommend the right solutions
- Develop and present tailored sales proposals, partnering with our system designers on technical scope
- Present Daisy’s solutions to trade partners and clients - one-on-one and in small group settings
- Run your pipeline in our CRM, log every touch, manage stages, and use the data to drive your outreach plan
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
- What You Bring
- Proven track record in sales hunting or business development - you’ve built pipeline from scratch and closed deals
- Experience conducting in-home or on-site sales consultations and developing your own proposals
- Disciplined CRM user - you treat your CRM as your operating system for business development, not an afterthought. You log activity, manage pipeline stages, set follow-ups, and use the data to plan your week
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Self-directed and organized - you manage your own calendar, follow-ups, and pipeline without being chased
- Comfortable learning smart home technology (or already familiar)
- 3+ years in custom integration, A/V, lighting control, low-voltage, interior design, residential construction or related trade sales
- Existing relationships with Miami-area builders, designers, or builders
- Working knowledge of home automation platforms
- Consistent record of beating quota
