Job description

• The Loan Analyst supports Pioneer Bank's commercial lending activities by analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, evaluating collateral, reviewing loan structure and policy compliance, and preparing clear and accurate presentations of borrower risk for lending decisions. This position assists the Officer Loan Committee, Executive Management, and the Board of Directors by providing objective, fact-based financial analysis and risk assessments that support safe and sound lending practices.
• The Loan Analyst serves as an important first line of defense by independently evaluating borrower and guarantor financial performance, identifying trends and potential concerns, and helping ensure loan recommendations are presented accurately and without bias.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing financial information, assessing credit risk, evaluating collateral, reviewing loan structure and policy compliance, and preparing clear and accurate presentations of borrower risk for lending decisions.
• Assisting the Officer Loan Committee, Executive Management, and the Board of Directors by providing objective, fact-based financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Independently evaluating borrower and guarantor financial performance, identifying trends and potential concerns, and helping ensure loan recommendations are presented accurately and without bias.

Requirements

• • Bachelor's Degree preferred in the area of accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related field
• • Able to handle the technology and banking software utilized by the bank
• • Willing to work traditional hours; however, business development and volunteer opportunities may require some evening and weekend events.
