• As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Salt Lake City, UT , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
• Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
• Day Time
• Mon 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
• This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence for tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors at a retail location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying visitor credentials, managing sign-in processes, issuing temporary passes, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Receive and document calls, deliveries, visitor inquiries, and security-related concerns; communicate relevant information to site personnel and/or management.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or other assigned systems, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergency notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
