- We're looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager who is passionate about serving clients, solving problems, and building long-term relationships. Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Client Service
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned personal lines clients.
- Respond to client questions regarding coverage, billing, policy changes, and service requests.
- Assist clients through policy updates, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and other account activities.
- Support clients during the claims process by providing guidance and follow-up assistance.
- Manage Renewals and Coverage Reviews
- Prepare and manage policy renewals to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Review policies for accuracy and communicate coverage updates clearly and professionally.
- Identify opportunities to improve coverage and strengthen client retention.
- Help clients make informed decisions about their insurance program.
- Support Agency Growth
- Partner with the Personal Lines Sales Team to support new business opportunities.
- Manage new business opportunities from initial contact through policy binding.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships through additional coverage solutions.
- Contribute to agency retention, growth, and service goals.
- Collaborate and Build Strong Partnerships
- Work closely with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain policy information, endorsements, and coverage solutions.
- Partner with teammates to deliver exceptional service and support agency objectives.
- Assist with complex client situations and collaborate on solutions that best serve our clients.
Requirements
- Must hold a current North Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Strong understanding of personal insurance products, policy forms, endorsements, and coverage options.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and standard business technology.
- Experience working within an independent insurance agency.
- Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems.
