Responsibilities
- Job Description: Develop, maintain, and audit quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for machined parts
- Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
- Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective preventive action (CAPA) implementation, guaranteeing reliability and regulatory compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‐on experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a machine‐shop or precision‐manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with precision measurement equipment (CMM, laser trackers, surface plates, optical comparators) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO‐9001) and audit processes.
