• We are seeking a **Senior Director, Laboratory Operations Management** to lead clinical laboratory operations across multiple teams and departments. This role will oversee laboratory leaders, quality, compliance, accreditation, staffing, and operational performance within a large healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• * Lead laboratory managers and multiple clinical laboratory teams.
• * Oversee daily laboratory operations, staffing, budgets, and performance.
• * Manage **CAP/CLIA accreditation and regulatory compliance**.
• * Oversee proficiency testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
• * Maintain clinical laboratory testing competency and training standards.
• * Evaluate laboratory testing methodologies, processes, and technology.
• * Partner with labor management, healthcare teams, and public health agencies.
• * Lead regional and national laboratory initiatives and strategic projects.

Requirements

• * 8+ years of healthcare/laboratory leadership experience.
• * Experience **leading managers or other leaders**.
• * Clinical laboratory operations and bench work experience.
• * Strong **CAP/CLIA accreditation** experience.
• * Proficiency testing oversight experience.
• * Experience managing credentialed medical laboratory staff.
• * Experience with laboratory test methodology evaluation.
• * Large healthcare/enterprise experience.
• * Master's degree in Laboratory Science, Healthcare, Operations, Leadership, or related field.
• Preferred: Experience with a large healthcare system such as Emory Healthcare.
