Job description
- We are looking for an experienced **Income & Franchise Tax Manager** to manage state income tax compliance and consulting activities for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- * Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
- * Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
- * Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
- * Assist clients with state tax audits.
- * Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- * Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
- * Support client relationships and business development activities.
Requirements
- * **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting**
- * **6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience**
- * **Active California CPA license**, OR active law license/JD, OR IPT certification
- * Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
- * Excellent communication and organizational skills
- * Ability to work **3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles**
