- As a Medical Support Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate patient care. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your efforts directly support the healthcare team in providing exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and record vital signs, contributing to patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.
Requirements
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. • At least one (1) year of related experience preferred. • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred. • Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred. • Ability to problem-solve preferred. • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
