- As our HR Generalist, you'll be a key point of contact for employees across our business units, supporting everything from recruiting and onboarding to benefits, payroll, employee relations, and HR compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone who's thorough, personable, and comfortable wearing a lot of hats.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, including posting roles, screening candidates, scheduling interviews
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth start for every new employee
- Manage day-to-day HR processes in Isolved HCM, including employee records, benefits enrollment, and payroll support
- Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping review, data entry, and resolving pay discrepancies
- Support administration of compensation and benefits programs
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations questions, documenting and escalating issues as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, confidential HR documentation and personnel files
- Help ensure HR practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support HR-related projects and initiatives across EN's business units
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist, coordinator, or related support role
- Hands-on experience with Isolved HCM strongly preferred - you'll be using it daily for HR, benefits, and payroll functions
- Working knowledge of HR practices and applicable federal and state employment laws
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
- High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, splitting time between our Albuquerque office and remote work
