- The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for optical transceiver products, ensuring product quality, performance, and manufacturing readiness throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- 1. Design, develop, set up, and maintain test systems and automated test solutions for optical transceiver products.
- 2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation procedures, and document test results.
- 3. Analyze test data, identify product or test-related issues, and work with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- 4. Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing test strategy, technical guidance, and engineering support from development through production ramp.
- 5. Continuously improve test methods, processes, and automation to enhance test efficiency, accuracy, stability, and coverage.
- 6. Develop and maintain test specifications, technical documentation, and operating procedures.
Requirements
- 1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Optical Communication, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2. 5+ years of experience in optical transceiver, optical communication, or related product testing.
- 3. Strong knowledge of optical transceiver fundamentals, test methodologies, and industry standards such as IEEE and MSA.
- 4. Hands-on experience with optical and high-speed test equipment, such as optical power meters, optical spectrum analyzers, BERTs, and oscilloscopes.
- 5. Hands-on programming experience with at least one language such as Python, C#, or LabVIEW for test software and automation development.
- 6. Experience with test fixture design and automated test system integration.
- 7. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- 8. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- 9. Good written and verbal English skills, with the ability to understand technical documentation in English.
