Job description

• West Meade is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and service-minded CNA Concierge to provide an exceptional level of personalized care and attention to our residents.
• This unique CNA role is designed to focus on the resident experience. The CNA Concierge will spend their day anticipating residents’ needs, providing extra assistance and companionship, and helping make each resident feel comfortable, valued, and well cared for. Along with some CNA duties.
• We are looking for someone who loves working with seniors, has a warm and positive personality, and enjoys going the extra mile to make someone's day.

Responsibilities

• Make regular rounds throughout the center to check on residents and proactively identify their needs.
• Provide personalized attention and assistance to residents throughout the day.
• Help residents get ready for their day and ensure they are comfortable and have everything they need.
• Assist with grooming, personal care, and other CNA-related needs as appropriate.
• Offer beverages, snacks, fresh water, blankets, pillows, and other comfort items.
• Help residents prepare for meals and provide assistance before and after dining.
• Spend one-on-one time with residents who may benefit from additional companionship or attention.
• Assist residents with getting to activities, appointments, therapy, dining, or other areas of the center.
• Help residents organize their personal space and keep frequently used items within reach.
• Respond to resident requests and call lights and help ensure needs are addressed promptly.
• Communicate resident needs, concerns, preferences, or changes to the appropriate nursing team member.
• Assist the nursing team with CNA duties when needed while maintaining the primary focus of the Concierge role.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and learn their individual preferences, routines, and interests.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification.
• A genuine passion for caring for seniors.
• Friendly, outgoing, patient, and compassionate personality.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Someone who notices the little things and takes initiative without always needing to be asked.
• Dependable and able to work independently while remaining part of the nursing team.
