• Fanatics Brands is seeking an experienced ERP Developer to join our team in Hyderabad, focused on sustaining and evolving ERP systems built on Informix 4GL and COBOL that power core operations including Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment. This role is central to ensuring system stability while enabling seamless integration with modern platforms such as Manhattan Active, bridging legacy infrastructure with next-generation capabilities. The ERP Developer – Informix & COBOL delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

• • Partner closely with business analysts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate ERP requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions across Order Management, Inventory, and Fulfillment domains.

• • Contribute technical expertise within a global, distributed team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate overall engineering quality.

• • Ensure ERP workflows supporting Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment operate with high availability and accuracy, directly enabling reliable product delivery to fans worldwide.
• • Provide timely incident resolution and break-fix support for the ERP stack, minimizing disruption to critical business operations and downstream customer experiences.
• • Build APIs and wrapper services that connect legacy systems with modern platforms, enabling faster, more accurate order and fulfillment processing at scale.
• • Support integration with Manhattan Active and other modern solutions to improve operational responsiveness and fan-facing service quality.

• • Refactor and modernize legacy Informix 4GL and COBOL code to improve maintainability, performance, and long-term supportability.
• • Drive adoption of CI/CD practices within legacy ERP environments, introducing modern engineering discipline to traditionally static systems.
• • Explore and evaluate tools such as Genero or similar low-code platforms to accelerate development and reduce technical debt.
• • Identify opportunities to optimize Informix database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries for improved system performance and scalability.

• • Take end-to-end ownership of ERP module development, enhancement, and maintenance across the full development lifecycle in Informix 4GL and COBOL.
• • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve runtime errors and system issues, ensuring minimal impact to production operations.
• • Document legacy business logic and integration patterns thoroughly, creating durable knowledge assets that support ongoing modernization efforts.
• • Execute against modernization and migration plans with discipline and precision, balancing stability of existing systems with progress toward future-state architecture.

Requirements

• • Strong proficiency in Informix 4GL and Informix SQL, with hands-on experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining ERP modules.
• • Experience with COBOL for ERP development, including refactoring and modernizing legacy codebases.
• • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments, with AIX experience preferred.
• • Demonstrated experience across ERP functional domains including Order Management, Inventory Control, and Fulfillment.
• • Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and batch-driven workflows, with the ability to build wrapper services connecting legacy and modern systems.
• • 5+ years of ERP development experience with Informix 4GL and 2+ years of COBOL development experience preferred.
• • Prior experience in retail or supply chain ERP environments, with exposure to platforms such as Manhattan Active considered a strong advantage.
