Associate Director, US HCP Marketing, Digital Strategy at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA

• The Associate Director of HCP Digital Strategy will play critical role in translating HCP marketing strategy into integrated omnichannel engagement. This individual will lead the development and execution of digital, media and omnichannel strategies that bring brand and disease state priorities to life across paid and owned channels, driving impactful customer experiences and business results. The role will also champion innovative digital capabilities, including AI-enabled approaches, while serving as a critical partner across Marketing, Omnichannel, Advanced Analytics, and other key stakeholders to continuously enhance marketing effectiveness.
• The position is a hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA and will report to the Senior Director, US TTR HCP Team Lead with up to ~40% travel to conferences, KOL engagements, field training meetings, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of omnichannel engagement strategies that translate brand and disease state priorities into coordinated customer journeys across digital, media, and non-personal channels
• Lead execution of HCP digital marketing initiatives, including activation of content and assets across paid and owned media channels and management of digital content calendars
• Partner with Media lead to support HCP media planning and optimization to maximize reach, engagement, and business impact across priority customer segments
• Integrate customer target lists, predictive alerts, and digital behavioral signals into omnichannel engagement strategies to enable more personalized and responsive customer experience
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform optimization efforts
• Evaluate and implement emerging digital capabilities, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance customer engagement, personalization, and marketing effectiveness
• Collaborate with marketing (HCP, Patient, and MedEd teams) and other cross functional partners (including Omnichannel Team, Market Research, Advanced Analytics, and others) to ensure aligned strategy, coordinated execution, and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of all strategies and tactics
• Partner with Agencies to deliver high-quality execution, operational excellence, and continuous innovation
• Contribute to annual brand planning and tactical planning processes by defining omnichannel strategies and activation plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, healthcare consulting, or healthcare agency experience
• Demonstrated experience developing omnichannel engagement strategies and executing digital marketing initiatives; experience with HCP media planning and optimization preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data, customer insights, and performance metrics into actionable business recommendations
• Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver business results
• Experience managing agency partners and managing marketing budgets

Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
