• Companion Pet Hospital is seeking an outgoing Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.
• In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.
• We're looking for someone who already understands the veterinary environment — the pace, the terminology, the emotional weight of caring for people's pets, and the importance of a seamless client experience from the moment the phone rings. Prior veterinary receptionist or veterinary hospital experience is strongly preferred for this role.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Prior veterinary receptionist or veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred — candidates with a background as a veterinary assistant, technician, or front desk team member in a clinical setting will be prioritized
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology, appointment types, and client communication in a fast-paced clinical setting is a significant advantage
• Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
• Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Pulse, preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
• Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
• Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods

• Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour, for each hour worked
• Schedule: This is a full-time position, with a 4 x 10 schedule and availability needed Monday–Friday with rotating weekend availability.
• Shift options include 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, or 9:00 AM–7:00 PM. No on-call requirements.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
