Job description
- We’re seeking a Regional Medical Director to lead and support six general practice clinics in the Los Angeles area.
- This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll continue practicing medicine while also shaping clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and elevating patient care across your region.
- You’ll partner closely with your Regional Operations Manager to align medical and operational excellence, while serving as a trusted resource for your teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership and oversight across multiple locations
- Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, especially early-career DVMs
- Support clinical growth in areas like surgery, diagnostics, and case management
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture
- Help drive consistency in quality of care while respecting each hospital’s individuality
Requirements
- Current Veterinary License holder for the State of California; or the ability to obtain
- 5+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian, deeply confident in your medicine
- DEA license preferred, not required
- Natural leader and mentor who is driven to teach others
- Highly organized and able to manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel across the region to support all clinics spanning from Palmdale, CA to Covina, CA

- Salary Range can vary from $180,000 to $230,000, with flexibility based on experience! Determining factor is solely based off experience, qualifications, schedule, compensation structure, and is subjected to change per applicable candidate.
