- The Senior Java Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support critical business capabilities. This role partners with architects, product teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality APIs and backend services using modern software engineering practices.
- The ideal candidate brings strong Java development experience, expertise in API design and integration, and a passion for building reliable, secure, and high-performing applications. This individual will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from technical design through deployment and production support.
Responsibilities
- Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
- Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
