• As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coaching, training and developing our in-home sales team. This is a leadership position at our Company. Our company is owned and run by our two owners who are very active in the business. You will be on the Leadership Team and will be expected to eventually run the full department reporting to the owners, Leadership Team and General Manager .You will have 3+ other Sales Support Staff that report to you in addition to the team of 22+ Sales Reps and be a part of Leadership team with other Managers at Closets by Design. This full-time position requires a commitment to excellence and growth within a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, developing, and growing our in-home sales team of 20+ reps.
• Embracing, integrating and re-training the Designers on our proven Sales Process and building our culture around it.
• Coaching designers through Sales Meetings, Workshops, 1-on-1 sessions and communication through email and chat.
• Managing the data using spreadsheets, CRM tools, powerpoints and other PC based software. Who needs a 1-1? The data will tell you.
• Building strong individual relationships while holding people accountable.
• Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and (when needed) offboarding team members.
• Enforcing and reinforcing a proven, process-driven sales system.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to ensure team success.
• Handling conflict proactively with radical candor and professional clarity.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and someone who can read the room, give a great presentation and control the dialogue in a group setting.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing salespeople.
• 2–5 years of personal sales success (in-home or B2C preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of managing by the data, software and other computer tools.
• Utah-based only – this is an in-office, in-person leadership position.
• Proficient in Google, Email, Powerpoint, CRM or design software experience is a plus.
• College degree preferred but not required.
