Responsibilities

• Consolidate monthly financial results of Hypertec Group entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany eliminations
• Build, maintain, and improve financial models and templates using Vena Solutions and other financial tools to support month end, budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses for internal and external reporting packages (MD&A, quarterly stakeholder reports), including variance analysis, trend analysis, and other key performance insights
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Extract, transform, and interpret financial data from multiple systems (SAP, Vena, etc.) to create meaningful insights for decision-making
• Support the external audit process, including the preparation of annual financial statements and necessary supporting documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, leveraging financial systems and other automation tools
• Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as required to support business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA designation an asset
• 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation in a multi-entity environment, including foreign exchange translation
• Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Vena, Adaptive Insights) is an asset
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems; knowledge of SAP Business One an asset
• Experience with Power BI is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in French
• Must be able to address multiple issues in a high-paced, rapidly changing environment, requiring effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and proactively improve processes
