Job description

• Our growing law firm is seeking a Full-Time In-Person Legal Assistant/Receptionist for our Hinesville office as our main office hours are currently from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be customer-service driven, team-oriented, professional, and comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in English with a Bilingual Skill set preferred (Spanish/Creole/Russian/+).
• No prior legal experience is required if previous Customer Service and Communication Skills have been obtained. We will train the right candidate who possesses strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills in any necessary legal experience related to information.
• As a Legal Assistant/Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential and existing clients. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to manage a high volume of incoming calls, ability to process mail, and strong attention to detail. You will provide administrative support while assisting callers with information regarding criminal defense, traffic violations, and driver's license matters with the objective of growing into a specialized assistant area.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and prospective clients
• Gather client information and accurately enter data into the system
• Quote legal fees for qualifying services
• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
• Perform general clerical and administrative duties
• Maintain organized client files and records
• Assist attorneys and staff with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a receptionist, call center, customer service, or administrative support role preferred
• Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work Monday through Friday and remain available until 6:00 PM
