• The Role We are seeking a Business Insights Analyst to partner with our sales teams and brand partners, delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that support business growth with a leading national retailer.
• This role will leverage company performance, market, and category data to identify opportunities and interpret complex information into clear, actionable business strategies helping to make informed business decisions.
• The Business Insights Analyst will develop and deliver accurate, impactful reporting and insights, with a focus on answering the “So What?” behind the data—connecting analysis to business implications and recommended actions.
• The role will serve as a strategic thought partner to internal sales teams and brands, supporting informed decision-making and advancing key business priorities.
• The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, business discernment, sound judgment, and the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while communicating insights and recommendations with data driven story telling.

Responsibilities

• -Collaborates with sales teams and brand partners as a trusted partner to deliver actionable category insights through a comprehensive, whole-shelf perspective.
• -Ability to pull data from several different business sources and spot hidden patterns, track market movements, and diagnose the root causes behind the growth or declines by providing clear recommendations answering the “So What”, not just reporting the news through data storytelling.
• -Uncover single and multi-price point white space and assortment opportunities across a retailer and our brands to help drive sales and traffic.
• -Build collaborative relationships with sales teams and brands to help development and execute merchandising strategies and decision making by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights derived from syndicated data and customer research.
• -Develop and maintaining high-quality reporting that provides teams with access to data for monitoring results and driving success by allowing them to keep a pulse on the business.
• -Continually identifies opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies by evaluating and streamlining workload
• -Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• -Bachelor’s degree in business, math, or related analytical field
• -You have 1-3 years analytical experience.
• -You have 1-3 years of syndicated data experience with Circana (TCN), Nielsen, Numerator or other similar third-party data sources.
• -Ability to generate and evaluate raw data and create narrative/storytelling.
• -You’re comfortable with ambiguity and are a self-starter who takes initiative to explore
• -You have a problem-solving mindset and willingness to challenge the established norms
• -You develop strong internal and external relationships, building rapport with partners to deliver on key business objectives and strategies to a deadline
• -Team player in a collaborative environment.
• -You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills

Benefits

• Compensation: The salary range for this position is $65,0000 -$80,0000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
