• Halleen Kia of Sandusky is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.
• As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and our service department. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable communicating with customers, and able to recommend needed maintenance and repairs while providing an excellent customer experience.
• Automotive experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with strong customer service and sales backgrounds who are willing to learn the automotive business.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers and provide a friendly, professional experience from arrival through vehicle pickup
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document requested repairs and services
• Prepare and manage repair orders
• Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle diagnosis, recommended repairs, and completion times
• Clearly explain maintenance and repair recommendations to customers
• Provide estimates and obtain customer authorization for repairs
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
• Recommend factory-scheduled maintenance and other appropriate services
• Coordinate vehicle pickup and review completed repairs with customers
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
• Follow up with customers when necessary
• Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and service management to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the department
• Help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention
