- Primary day-to-day responsibilities – Commercial Aerospace Analyst
- • Perform primary- and secondary-source research using a variety of inputs, including industry-specific databases, trade and general news, company reports, industry reports, and other sources as needed
- • Create, manage, and maintain excel-based aircraft fleet forecast market models and platform databases
- • Track relevant commercial aerospace, business & GA, advanced air mobility (AAM) and rotary-wing technology, competitive and industry trends
- • Assist in distilling data into discrete analyses to be incorporated into larger reports
- • Deliver/communicate reports and findings to client management and/or executive leadership
- • Support senior leadership business development efforts with creative industry thought leadership ideas and visual analyses
Requirements
- • A passion for – and experience in – commercial/civil aerospace or related technology sectors
- • Strong analytical skills and comfort with complex quantitative analysis
- • Self-starter and problem-solver
- • Curiosity, energy, positivity and the ability to work in teams and in a dynamic environment
- • 1-3+ years of work experience in the aerospace sector (whether in industry or consulting roles)
- • Strong academic background with Bachelor’s or higher degree Engineering or business/economics preferred
- • Strong acumen in business writing and communication with clients and team members
- • Comfort with rudimentary data analysis and visualization methods
