- Job Summary: The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions of care to patients and their families, including educational and discharge needs. With an average length of stay 25-30 days, the RN is able to develop strong relationships with our patients and play a critical role in their recovery. RN’s at Gaylord Hospital have a voice in their practice and have a strong Shared Governance model in place.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual dimensions of care to patients and their families, including educational and discharge needs.
- Develops strong relationships with patients and plays a critical role in their recovery.
- Works in a Shared Governance model.
Requirements
- RN Diploma or ASN required
- BSN or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred
- Current CT RN license required
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
- WORK SCHEDULE: 32 Hours/Week, Evening Shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm) Rotating weekends and holidays.
