Job description

• This is a full-time, field-based role involving daily travel to conduct visits in members' homes. Candidates must reside in or near one of our covered service areas throughout New Jersey.
• We're looking for Certified Medical Assistants who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality care in patients' homes. In this role, you'll work alongside providers to support patients with complex healthcare needs while helping improve health outcomes through personalized, community-based care.
• This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.

• Certified MAs (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) start at a higher hourly rate.
• Uncertified MAs: We'll support you in earning your certification and reward it with a pay increase once you do.

Responsibilities

• Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
• Gather medical histories and patient information.
• Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support patient education and engagement.
• Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
• Document care activities within EMR systems.
• Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities.
• Maintain supplies and equipment needed for field visits.
• Travel throughout assigned counties and service areas to support patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based care setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
