The BD Manager plays a critical role in driving direct-to-consumer revenue growth while supporting operational excellence and employee development across a remote call center environment.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Sales Performance
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the entire B2CSales Team to achieve individual and team revenue goals.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-centric sales culture aligned with our mission.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill development initiatives to improve sales effectiveness.
- Monitor individual and team KPIs including pipeline activity, callback cadence, quality assurance scores, conversions, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
- Create actionable sales strategies and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and team efficiency.
- Maintain team coverage and oversee pipeline management to ensure timely follow-up and lead engagement.
- Training & Employee Development
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new B2C Team members.
- Lead “nesting phase” development for new hires, ensuring confidence in systems, processes, quality standards, and sales strategies.
- Conduct team huddles, meetings, and ongoing training sessions for a remote workforce operating across Eastern and Central time zones.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for the B2C sales team.
- Support continuous employee growth through feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Operations & Process Improvement
- Partner with leadership to establish and maintain sales protocols, workflows, quality standards, and troubleshooting processes.
- Identify operational challenges and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Perform internal quality reviews including call monitoring, survey feedback analysis, and procedural audits.
- Manage lead assignments, daily workflows, and task prioritization to improve operational efficiency and responsiveness.
- Analyze reporting trends related to sales, retention, utilization, and team performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Account Management, B2B, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experience and strong client relationships.
- Generate B2B opportunities through strategic identification and triage of employee-related inquiries.
- Support marketing campaigns and outreach efforts that contribute to business growth and brand visibility.
- Assist in supporting in-house SAPs registered in the FMCSA Clearinghouse with safety-sensitive employee invitations and related processes.
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of call center sales management experience required.
- Experience leading remote teams in a high-volume sales environment strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, accountability, and collaboration.
