Responsibilities
- Teaching: Develop and teach both face-to-face and online courses. The standard teaching load in the Information Systems & Analytics program is three courses per semester for active researchers. The candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Research: Maintain an active research agenda in the field to ensure ongoing qualification as a Scholarly Academic (SA) under AACSB accreditation standards.
- Service: Participate in service activities, including serving on committees at the School, College, and University levels and/or contributing to the professional community.
- On-campus presence: This is not a remote position. The successful candidates will be required to relocate to the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related field preferably from an AACSB-accredited program. ABD candidates will be considered.

The School of Computing and Analytics (SCA) at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Information Systems and Analytics beginning August 2027. Salary and benefits are competitive. We are seeking candidates possessing teaching and/or research expertise in one or more of the following areas: information systems, security management, analytics and data-driven decision-making, health informatics, health information systems, health information management, or artificial intelligence in healthcare. The positions will contribute to the Information Systems & Analytics (IS&A) programs: B.S. in Information Systems and Business Informatics, M.S. in Information Systems, and M.S. in Health Informatics.
