Responsibilities
- • Reporting, Dashboard & Analytics Ownership
- Own the development, maintenance, and enhancement of core sales dashboards and reporting, including pipeline health, bookings, revenue, productivity, and cross-sell metrics. Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.
- • Advanced Data Analysis, AI & Insights
- Apply advanced analytics, statistical methods, and AI/data science techniques to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers of sales performance. Develop predictive and AI-enabled insights that improve decision-making, and translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- • Forecasting & Predictive Pipeline Analytics
- Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to support forecasting through pipeline analysis, data validation, predictive modeling, and identification of key drivers impacting forecast accuracy. Leverage machine learning and statistical techniques where appropriate to improve forecast visibility and confidence.
- • AI & Data Science Solutions
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, automation, and emerging analytics capabilities to sales use cases. Develop and operationalize analytical models, including propensity, segmentation, lead/opportunity scoring, forecasting, and other predictive solutions that support revenue growth and sales effectiveness.
- • Cross-Functional Business Partnership
- Serve as a key analytics and data science partner across Sales, Finance, Operations, and other business functions. Translate business challenges into analytical solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and measurable business impact.
- • Data Quality, Governance & Process Improvement
- Improve the quality, reliability, and usability of sales data by identifying data gaps, inconsistencies, and process issues. Lead initiatives to streamline reporting, automate manual processes, improve data pipelines, and establish scalable analytics practices.
- • Mentorship & Team Support
- Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to analysts and team members. Promote best practices across reporting, analytics, AI/data science, data management, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a related analytical field.
- Demonstrated experience applying AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or advanced statistical modeling to business problems.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable analytics, data science, and AI solutions.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and developing insights that directly support revenue, sales performance, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency with CRM and BI platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and AI techniques, with the ability to apply them to practical business use cases.
- Understanding of Generative AI/LLMs, AI-assisted analytics, and emerging AI capabilities, with the ability to identify relevant opportunities for sales and revenue use cases.
- Experience with data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, and/or deployment of analytical models.
- Solid understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, forecasting methodologies, and revenue performance.
- Experience developing or supporting predictive forecasting, opportunity scoring, propensity modeling, segmentation, or similar sales analytics models.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and analytics best practices.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy, integrity, and model reliability.
- Ability to translate complex analytical and AI outputs into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior business leaders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and balance strategic analytics with day-to-day reporting needs.
