• Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking an experienced Procurement Administrator. This role will be responsible for supporting the full procurement lifecycle, including vendor management, contract review, compliance monitoring, and procurement administration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the government contracting industry, a thorough understanding of FAR regulations, and hands-on experience with Costpoint.
• This position works closely with procurement, accounting, finance, and operational teams to ensure purchasing activities are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Administer procurement activities and support the purchasing process from requisition through contract closeout.
• Review, audit, and maintain vendor contracts, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with FAR requirements and company policies.
• Conduct contract reviews to identify risk, compliance issues, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications and relationship management.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance teams regarding vendor setup, payment terms, invoicing, and purchasing controls.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting within Costpoint.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or contractual obligations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing procurement documentation and supporting compliance reviews.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Requirements

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, contract administration, or subcontract administration experience within a government contracting environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Costpoint (required).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Experience reviewing, auditing, and administering government contracts and vendor agreements.
• Proven vendor relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
