• Swiss Nexus is recruiting on behalf of an early-stage technology company building payment infrastructure for digital assets.
• The company is developing products that make onchain transactions more intuitive for users, developers and businesses. It is now hiring its first dedicated marketing leader to define how its technology is positioned and communicated to enterprise and developer audiences.
• This is a founding marketing position combining product marketing with broader ownership of the company’s early marketing function.
• You will translate technically complex payments and blockchain infrastructure into clear, differentiated business value. The position is highly hands-on: you will personally develop messaging, content, customer stories and sales materials while establishing the foundations from which the marketing function can grow.

Responsibilities

• Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging for enterprise and developer audiences.
• Own website messaging across product and customer-facing pages.
• Create customer stories and case studies that demonstrate measurable product impact.
• Produce sales collateral, pitch decks and competitive-positioning materials for the go-to-market team.
• Develop social content supporting product launches, partnerships and company milestones.
• Conduct customer interviews, market research and competitive analysis to refine positioning.
• Work closely with product, sales and leadership to ensure consistent communication across the customer journey.
• Support early marketing initiatives, including podcasts, industry events and other experiments, until dedicated owners are hired.
• Help define the company’s broader marketing strategy, priorities and operating foundations.

Requirements

• At least six years of experience in product marketing or a closely related discipline.
• Experience marketing technically complex products, infrastructure or developer-facing technology.
• Exceptional writing skills, with evidence of producing strong website copy, case studies, sales collateral and product messaging.
• The ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer and commercial value.
• Experience conducting customer research and using market insight to improve positioning.
• Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor and building a marketing function without an established team.
• Confidence working directly with founders, product leaders and go-to-market teams in an early-stage environment.
• Fluency using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis and day-to-day execution.
• Based in, or able to work from, New York City.
• Experience in crypto, blockchain, fintech or payments.
• Background marketing consumer financial products.
• Experience establishing marketing from the ground up at an early-stage startup.
• Familiarity with B2B sales processes and developer-focused products.
• Experience supporting product launches, events, podcasts or community initiatives.
