• Orchestra is looking for an Analytics Specialist to play a key role in the growth and evolution of our Strategic Insights team. We want someone energized by the opportunity to deliver thoughtful, high-impact analyses that help our clients make data-driven decisions.
• This person should bring a strong foundation in analytics tools and a passion for creating compelling reports that support the agency’s insights deliverables. They will have the chance to work across agencies and client verticals, applying rigorous methodologies and translating findings into clear strategic implications that resonate with our clients. Above all, this person will be intellectually curious, motivated, and excited by the possibilities of what can be measured, learned, and achieved through data.
• Role location: This role may be remote in the U.S., with a preference for candidates based in New York, N.Y., or Washington, D.C. Employees in NYC or D.C. are considered hybrid and are expected to be in-office three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Join a growing team of innovative analytics professionals, delivering interesting and impactful data-driven insights to a vast range of clients
• Work collaboratively with various teams across the agency network to support analytics & insights needs, applying data-driven best practices to support each client’s unique objectives
• Support the execution of research projects including: desk research, designing Boolean search taxonomies, media and social media analysis, white space assessments, audience intelligence, and much more
• Support the production of reports and analysis for clients & interagency stakeholders to support data-backed findings and strategic recommendations
• Execute comprehensive measurement plans for analyzing owned, social, and earned properties
• Assist in business development and growth by working with an interagency team to inform our proposal strategy through insights deliverables
• Work closely with colleagues across the Strategic Insights team to execute research strategies (e.g., methodology selection, data capture, data visualization, and storytelling)
• Keep up to date on best practices, tools and news in the analytics industry
• Have an interest in working with cutting-edge tools and research methodologies, leveraging powerful new mediums like AI to make analysis more efficient and impactful

Requirements

• 1–3 years of full-time workplace experience; relevant internships in media monitoring and media analysis will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Strong technical research methodology skills and a solid understanding of data collection best practices and tools
• Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership, independence, and accountability
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Familiarity with deck production, data visualization, and presentation tools
• Proven ability to manage multiple analysis projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
• Strong data collection, interpretation, and analytical skills
• Experience supporting integrated marketing, communications or digital campaigns in an agency, consultancy or in-house environment
• Experience leveraging media monitoring and social listening tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Meltwater)
• Experience with audience intelligence tools (e.g., GWI, MRI Simmons, Stat Social, YouGov, Statista)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
• Curiosity and engagement when analyzing complex or technical datasets
• Strong digital storytelling abilities

Benefits

• Salary range: $66,500-$76,500, commensurate with experience & skills
